Hi everyone!
If you have any feedback (be it positive or negative) this is the place to post it. We are looking forward to as many comments as possible, so we can continue to improve the game.

So long,

Hello, i cannot start the windows version of the game, it is crashing on startup, maybe because of ATI video driver (catalyst 9.6 version, AGP).

Under Linux, Ubuntu 9.04 it is a little bit slow, and the installation was not so easy, too difficult.
I tried to install the packaged version but it doesn't work, so i find out in this forum that the problem is caused by python version.

I can now run the game, but the sound is not really working so i disabled it.
The graphics are pretty.

A question, why is the whole screen becoming grey or white when you build a road ?

So the main issue is that the game installation on a popular distro like Ubuntu is too difficult. If there is a working package, it will a lot easier to install.
It is the first time a hear about this game, i was searching for a replacement for Anno 1404, because DRM sucks.

So far you made a nice job, please continue and it will become a great game, like battle for westnoth for example.

Did you try the ubuntu packages we offer on the downloads page? We have a extra repo setup for ubuntu and debian packages.
We are working hard to make the install work flawlessly, but sadly it's really not too easy for linux. As soon as we get rid of some content that is not fully free (Open source wise), Unknown Horizons will probably be included in the repos of all major distros. Or at least we hope so :).

I recorded a video of UH using glc on *nux: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLLXw5jAHvg

I'm very impressed by the look and feel. The Menu/HUD is great, the trees/buildings are great, only the slowdowns from the building highlighting mode are annoying.

I can't wait for mountains to become part of the game! :)
